Horse racing.. rather it be for entertainment, for professional gamblers or for the love of the sport. There was a little bit of everyone to be seen at The Red Mile.
Since Alabama does not have horse racing, this culture is foreign for me. Everything from the betting table to the numerous horse races on TV to the casino to the live track. You couldn't escape it.
Although I didn't place a bet, I could see the intrigue of it all. The horses are beautiful to watch as they paced around the mile track in under two minutes. It is something that I really did enjoy watching.
