In a field of roses, she is a wildflower.

Forget the perfect poses and Sunday clothes.. This is about remembering what it is to be a kid.

Susanna a.k.a. POSS.. has got to be the official spokesmodel of my photography ventures.. She is carefree, adventurous, brave and tough as nails. She's not afraid of a little.. OR A LOT of dirt.. she knows what it's like to be a kid and the best thing is that she reminds me a lot of myself when I was her age.

Sometimes, we, as adults need to be reminded with what life once was for us and to try to get back to those days and I want to thank her for this.

Thanks to my friend and her amazing mom for being open to the idea of her daughter's play day as another one of my photo 'ventures'.

I just think life has become too strict, too sad, too angry and people are always trying to find and seek out perfection.. when in reality, it's in these not so perfect moments, you will find them..

Lets be honest.. how many of us LOVE and reminisce over our '80's Olen Mills studio photo of us in poofy sleeves and oversprayed and stiff hair styles??

I feel it's safe to say that rather than remembering your childhood dog during that time or your favorite hobby or past time you are stuck remembering how uncomfortable that dress was to wear or how long it took for you to get ready for that photo shoot.
